FluxSub is an independent browser extension and this website (https://fluxsub.morinam.com).

The extension

Only subtitle tracks already available in your logged-in OTT session are used. DRM is not bypassed.

Chrome Translator runs on your device. Google Cloud Translation or DeepL send subtitle text to those APIs. API keys stay in Chrome storage and are not sent to a FluxSub server.

Overlay settings and per-title language picks are saved with chrome.storage.sync and may sync with your Google account if Chrome Sync is on. API keys and a local cache of translated captions stay in chrome.storage.local on this device. FluxSub has no developer backend for subtitles and does not use an analytics SDK.

This website

Feedback (type, nickname, message, service, optional email, site version, browser info, and IP address) is kept so the operator can improve the product. It is not posted publicly.

Entries are kept until they are no longer needed for support or product work. To ask for deletion, email the contact address below.

Third parties

If you choose Google Cloud Translation or DeepL in the extension, subtitle text is sent to those APIs under their terms. This website loads the Pretendard font from files hosted on this site. There is no analytics vendor.

Chrome Web Store Limited Use

When you use Google Cloud Translation from the extension, subtitle text is sent to Google only to provide that translation. FluxSub does not sell user data or use it for advertising.

The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Cookies

A PHP session cookie is used for the admin login and the feedback form. A language cookie remembers your locale choice. There are no tracking cookies for analytics.
